Election Day 2024: Harris County, Texas

Voter Registration

To vote in Harris County, Texas, you must be registered by October 9th, 2024.

You can register to vote online, by mail, or in person.

Early Voting

Early voting will begin on October 20th, 2024, and end on November 2nd, 2024.

You do not need to provide a reason for voting early.

Election Day

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th, 2024.

Polls will be open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

You must vote at your assigned polling place.

What to Bring

When you go to vote, you must bring a valid form of identification.

Acceptable forms of identification include:

• Texas driver's license
• Texas ID card
• US passport
• Military ID
• Concealed handgun license

If you do not have a valid form of identification, you can still vote by provisional ballot.
