Billy Joel's Daughter Alexa Ray Celebrates Birthday with Family

NEW YORK, Jan. 3, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Singer-songwriter Billy Joel's eldest daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, celebrated her 39th birthday on Wednesday, December 29th.

Alexa, who was born in 1985, is the only child of Joel and his ex-wife, model Christie Brinkley. She has two younger half-sisters, Della Rose and Remy Anne, from Joel's current marriage to Alexis Roderick.

As reported by People magazine, Brinkley took to Instagram to share a heartfelt birthday message for her daughter, accompanied by a series of throwback photos. "Happy Happy Birthday to our beautiful @alexarayjoel! We love you to the moon and back," she wrote.

Joel also marked the special occasion by posting a rare photo of himself with Alexa on his Instagram story, along with a simple but loving caption: "Happy Birthday Alexa! Love you."
